Admission Procedure as per INC Norm

Basic B.Sc. Nursing

• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December 2023.
• The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of:
  A candidate should have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English Individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% of marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination i.e. (10+2). Further more,the candidates belonging to SC/ST or other backward classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 45% as stated above. English is compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission toB.Sc. Nursing.
• Candidate shall bemedically fit.
• Entrance / Selection Test: Selections of the candidates should be based on the merit in the entrance examination conducted by Vidyapeeth. Entrance test shall comprise of:
  a) Aptitude for Nursing – 20 marks
  b) Physics 20 marks
  c) Chemistry 20 marks
  d) Biology 20 marks
  e) English 20 marks

Eligibility

• Only the candidate, who satisfies or is likely to satisfy the following eligibility requirements for admission to the courses, shall be considered eligible to appear for the AIAHET-2023.
